Agentic Enterprise Search Setup
Agentic Enterprise Search is an AI search designed to act as the connective tissue across the modern workplace. It allows users to instantly discover and act on information that lives across Salesforce CRM, Slack, Data Cloud, and external third-party source, all through a single, intelligent interface.

My Role
Point of Contact for UX, Product Designer, Pattern Liaison
Value Add
AI Enterprise Search allows users to bring all of their disparate data into one place, turning a fragmented ecosystem into a single, searchable brain. It brings the answers to the user, instead of making them hunt for the source.

Impact
The Setup of this product will guide admins to quickly and confidently setup their AI Enterprise Search with the correct prerequisites, data sources, agents, and permissions.
The Mission & the Goal
The Mission: Break down the enterprise data silos.
I was tasked with designing an onboarding flow that could guide an admin to enable it, connect and ingest first party and external data sources, easily enable all sources to be searchable to our agent, and assign permissions for their org.
The Goal: Agentic Enterprise Search enablement in 10 minutes. The goal was a radical reduction in Time-to-Value. I led the creation of Agentic Enterprise Search, a streamlined onboarding framework designed to collapse weeks of technical integration into a 10-minute setup window. My focus was on making the technical parts of data ingestion and search configurations along with agent enablement and permissioning feel fast, trustworthy, and incredibly simple for the end user.
My Process
In a high-velocity environment where AI capabilities were evolving daily, the traditional Design vs. Product silos didn't exist. I operated as a strategic partner to my PMs where we navigated this landscape side-by side. Due to this and the fact that we were integrating different products and technologies, I often functioned as a hub across various Salesforce teams. I needed to stay in the loop of the latest framework updates and platform capabilities. This influenced my process to lean heavily on cross-team collaboration:
-
To maintain alignment in a high-velocity environment, I established and led three weekly stakeholder meetings. These served as a critical governance layer for our emerging product, allowing us to conduct real-time design reviews and pivot instantly to new technical requirements.
-
Designer-to-Designer Syncs: I held regular jam sessions with designers from Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Search. We didn't just share pixels; we shared the logic behind them. We learned each others areas. This ensured that we could understand the impact of design changes across our experiences.
-
Advocating for the Admin: I acted as the 'Voice of the Admin' in these cross-cloud circles, pushing for intuitive navigation and easy to use experience in a very technical area.
-
Knowledge Sharing as a Force Multiplier: Since I was plugged into the emerging updates from Data Cloud and Agentforce, I acted as a knowledge bridge for my partners. Whether it was a new Salesforce GO framework update or a shift in agentic logic, I focused on leveling up the people around me so we could all move at the fast pace that was demanded without losing our strategic edge.
-
Partnered closely with Research to translate complex user pain points into testable prototypes. This collaborative partnership was key to refining our onboarding for the Setup of our product.
-
My work was consistently reviewed by our executive sponsors, ensuring that our design strategy remained aligned with Salesforce’s top-level business objectives.
